Must have served a recognized apprenticeship training plus senior technician level qualification.

Min. 10 years experience and at least 8 years offshore installation experience of which 5 years in supervisory role.

Must have good knowledge of international construction and safety codes, fully familiar with the hazardous area classification zone for offshore platform.

It’s necessary to have sound knowledge of international and company standard specification and welding procedure. A wide range of material are used and knowledge of the welding techniques and procedure is required.

Able to interpret drawing and specification and translate them into understandable terms. Training subordinates in this respect is a major part of the training roles of his task.

Good knowledge and working experience of marine operational medal, heavy lift of offshore structure, pile driving, pipe laying and structural grouting.

Hold engineering qualification from an institute such as City & Guilds or equivalent.
